# Introduction

### **What are The WatchMane?**

The WatchMane genesis are 5678 programmatically generated and animated NFTs at the core of the ethereum blockchain. WatchMane is a community driven collective, giving holders a voice in the project. One WatchMane equals one vote on project features, events, products and direction. There will be huge giveaways, an exclusive merch store, IRL events and last but not least access to the WatchMane metaverse.

### What's in it for WatchMane holders?

#### As a holder of a WatchMane you are entitled to the following:

1. At the end of every quarter a percentage of the royalties will used to give back to the community in many unique ways
2. Voting rights on major project features, events, products and more.
3. Propose ideas on how to use treasury funds.
4. Exclusive merch, IRL events, giveaways, members-only channels and much more.
5. Access to the WatchMane arcade where you can go hangout, play games and claim prizes in exchange for $MANE.
6. $MANE will eventually fuel the WatchMane ecosystem and be used to interact with certain features of the arcade

Our vision is to create a project focused on growing the WatchMane brand through rewarding our community, giving them important roles , collaborating with other projects and being completely transparent with our holders/partners!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://watch-mane.gitbook.io/watchmane-whitepaper/welcome/introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
